You do not need to book
Walk in during any hour we are open and you will be taken in turn. No appointment, no app, no deposit. If you want a time held, call (516) 328-0724.
What it costs
Every price is published and none of them is a starting price. A men's haircut is $30, a kids' cut $25, a senior cut $20. There is no upcharge for a fade, for a scissor cut or for thick hair.
How to describe the cut you want
Bring a photograph if you have one, and bring one of a head of hair like yours rather than one you like the look of. Hair type decides more of the result than the picture does.
Without a photograph, a barber needs four things from you:
- How short on the sides — a guard number if you know it, or point at how short.
- Whether the sides blend or stop at a line — blended is a fade; a hard line is not.
- How much comes off the top — in inches, not in adjectives.
- What you do with it in the morning — whether you style it or let it dry.
If you do not know the words, the style guides have the guard numbers and the sentence to say out loud for each cut we do.
Bringing a child
Kids' haircuts are $25, including first haircuts. If clippers frighten your child, ask for scissors only when you walk in — not once he is in the chair, because it changes how the cut is done.
How long to allow
The shop does not run to a booked timetable, so the honest answer is that it depends on the queue rather than on the cut. If you are on a schedule, call (516) 328-0724 before you leave and ask how it looks.
